Who we are.

Howdy! My name is Victoria Ann McLaurin, VAM, and I am the founder/owner/operator of Vam’s Jam. Vam’s Jam originally began as a hobby to give personalized and unique gifts to my family and friends for holidays.

In May of 2021 for Mother’s Day I wanted to give my mom and aunts a homemade gift as a token of my appreiciation for all they do for me. I had recently gotten a new cookbook and it had a strawberry jam recipe. I had never made jam, but figured it would be an easy one time activity. As I started to gather my supplies and ingredients, the idea of plain strawberry jam felt boring. Enter my favorite herb, rosemary — and I had my very first flavor, Strawberry Rosemary Jam! The gifts were a hit and I put away my canning supplies.

Several months later while on vacation, one of my uncles tried the Strawberry Rosemary jam and not knowing I had made it, began raving about the jam. When I told him I made it, he immediately responded “you need to sell this”. For the remainder of our vacation, we sat on the beach and listed off flavor combinations. The only missing piece was a name. My initials being VAM was a coincidence too good to pass up and thus Vam’s Jam was launched in September of 2021.

Vam’s Jam is produced and packaged in Fort Worth, Texas. Our jams can purchased on our website at any time and shipped directly to you or picked up locally in Fort Worth. We also frequent local Farmer’s Markets and pop ups, so be sure to look at our events page to see where we will be next!
